Case Study: K. Walker Collective
In the spring of 2018, I partnered with the men’s fashion line, K. Walker Collective to establish a unique online shopping experience. The goal was to develop a website that aligned with the brand message and could be successful for mobile use before the inaugural summer collection fashion show. It took a while to gather all the assets and administrative access logins and ultimately, it was decided that we would have a soft website launch to take preorders. The site fully launch June 19th and we began filling the preorders.
The Goal – Establish online presence before fashion show.
Challenges
- Acquiring all the administrative passwords.
- Redirecting domain to hosting site.
- Creating custom “Pre-Order” template.
- Gathering all the images and copy for the launch
The Results – Soft Launch allowed us to take pre-orders. Leveraged Facebook and Instagram to drive users to the website.
After a successful launch, I will now be assisting with marketing campaigns centered around increasing email subscriptions. I am designing and coding monthly emails and scheduling them for delivery.
